On July 2, ‘South Park’s parent company, Paramount, was in the middle of a combative negotiation for its streaming rights as David Ellison’s Skydance Media acquired Paramount. The show’s Season 27 premiere was delayed by Comedy Central, which left creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone fuming. “This merger is a sh-t show,” the duo wrote on X, “and it’s f–king up South Park.” But that issue didn’t go on for too long. They were resolved last week after the creators settled on a five-year, $1.5 billion streaming deal that will bring the show to Paramount+ globally.
With that, Parker, who is 55, and Stone, 54, have become billionaires. Their net worth is $1.2 million each, and that is something combat sports personality Conor McGregor admires. Is it surprising, though? After all, the fighter has been interested in reaching billionaire status someday. In fact, months ago, Dr Wilson, a professor of economics at Sheffield Business School, revealed that ‘The Notorious’ could become a billionaire with the right plan: Investing in the right projects and his acting career would be a big part of this.
But for now, he is simply happy reading Trey Parker and Matt Stone’s success story. Taking to his Instagram handle, the former dual-weight champion shared the news on his story with a caption that read, “@SouthPark, two mad bastards.” The multi-billion-dollar deal comes after much struggle from the behind-the-scenes drama.

The road is much longer for ‘Mystic Mac’. With a current net worth of $200 million, McGregor isn’t close to his goal but that did not stop from once claiming to be a billionaire. Let us go back to 2019. “I fought for billionaires and then became one myself,” the Irish fighter wrote in an Instagram post alongside a photo of him doing his billionaire strut in the middle of a UFC octagon. That image was from before his iconic fight against Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229.
His fought for billionaires may have been a reference to former CEO Lorenzo Fertitta who was worth $1.8 billion in 2019.

He further added, “Once [Conor] got injured, once he pulled out of the fight, we had to move on. I could have just sat on the sidelines, but I was ready to get back in there and prove to the fans who I am, how I operate, and I want to put on fun, exciting performances.”
