When have you ever seen Stephen Curry lose his cool or fire back at critics? Rarely does the Warriors superstar waste time on trolls, let alone clap back with sharp replies. But this time was different. The four-time NBA champion decided to step in—not to settle a personal score, but to shut down a false narrative and defend his wife against a four-time Grammy-winning rapper. Unlike the playful back-and-forth we’ve seen between LeBron and Drake, this wasn’t about past history. For Curry, it was about protecting Ayesha.

Off the court, the couple has been making the most of the offseason. From quick getaways and supporting each other’s business ventures to celebrating their kids’ birthdays, they’ve been enjoying their time together. Recently, Ayesha shared a post captioned, “Mom and dad and NYC.” The first photo showed her resting on Steph’s chest, the two locked in a quiet, intimate gaze. The final shot, true to form, captured Steph’s playful side—grinning with two unlit cigars in his mouth while Ayesha snapped the picture.

This photo comes hours after the reported news of Steph Curry and Killer Mike being involved in a back-and-forth. Mike was responding to TikToker Bookie Woodz, who claimed Ayesha Curry is “embarrassing” the Golden State Warriors star & “wants to go be GloRilla” to get other men’s attention. The Shade Room posted the screenshot of the comment, “😂😂😂 My N—- Said She Wanna Go Be Glo!!! Man Steph Doesn’t deserve the embarrassment frfr. God bless him.

The Golden State Warriors point guard hopped in the comments section, allegedly when he spotted rapper Killer Mike’s response on a video criticizing Steph’s wife of 14 years, Ayesha Curry. In his response, Stephen Curry said he expects better from the four-time Grammy-winning artist in comparison to TikToker Bookie Woodz. He even dubbed the creator “worst,” but never lost his cool in the comments section.

@killermike naaah not you Mike. I’m cool stating silent and letting these other clowns have their moment! And you’re the worst of them @boowood2234. But you’re better than that @killermike. Stay in your lane and let God keep blessing me like he is. We r good over here ✌️“.

The peace sign revealed that there was no intention to engage again. It also sent a message that Steph had to get involved since it was Killer Mike, hyping up the content creator over his nasty take on Ayesha Curry. However, those comments seem to have been deleted. TMZ reported that comments were not found, and they possibly could have been deleted. Since it happened so quickly, it left many confused about this whole drama.

So there is a possibility that after Steph’s comment, Mike realized what narrative he was setting out there. Instead of arguing, the deleted comments also show there could be a truce between the Grammy-winning star and the NBA icon.

Stephen Curry and Ayesha Curry appear together despite backlash

The businesswoman and chef appeared for an interview on the famed ‘Call Her Daddy’ podcast. During the discussion with host Alex Cooper, she admitted she once envisioned herself as “a career girl” uninterested in starting a family. Her feelings and statement were not perceived well, and some even slammed Ayesha and asked her, “Why broadcast it?” Did this question or any comments from the net affect their relationship? Absolutely not.

In fact, Ayesha Curry was front and center when it was time for Stephen Curry to share his feelings. Instead of a podcast, the Warriors superstar chose a book as his medium called ‘Shot Ready’. Yes, this mimics the 11x All-Star’s philosophy built on preparation, growth, and joy, and mixed with important life lessons. This has over 100 photographs, and Ayesha Curry couldn’t wait to celebrate this.

Ayesha wrote, “Congrats my baby @stephencurry30 #shotready is available NOW. So proud as always🥰.” So, be it date nights or hyping each other through their projects, the Golden State‘s most respected couple won’t let a few comments or opinions affect their relationship.
