Tyler Reddick has become one of NASCAR’s rising stars as a full-time driver in the NASCAR Cup Series for 23XI Racing, piloting the No. 45 Toyota Camry. He is a two-time Xfinity Series champion (2018 with JR Motorsports and 2019 with Richard Childress Racing) and has three NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series wins to his name. As of the 2025 season, he’s tallied 8 career Cup wins, including several memorable ones since joining 23XI Racing.
But off the track, his life revolves around family. In late 2024, he married longtime partner Alex DeLeon, and together they have two young sons: Beau and Rookie George. Beau was born in January 2020, and the Reddicks welcomed their second son, affectionately nicknamed “Rookie,” on May 25, 2025. The boys often join Tyler at the speedway, making headlines of their own. Below, we meet each of Tyler’s sons in turn.

Beau Reddick is Tyler’s eldest son, born January 18, 2020. His name even has a backstory: Alexa wanted to name the baby “Ryker,” but they agreed on a bet during Tyler’s 2019 Xfinity Series championship run. Tyler promised that if he won the title, he could pick the name, and when he took the championship, he triumphantly cried “Baby Beau!” in Victory Lane to claim the naming rights.
Now, about 5 years old, Beau already lives and breathes racing. He frequently travels with his dad and has popped up in victory celebrations. For instance, in 2024, Beau was in the winner’s circle with Tyler and even shared the spotlight with team co-owner Michael Jordan after the Talledega victory. The little boy is also remarkably supportive.
Before the 2024 championship finale, he drew a heartfelt cartoon and note for Tyler, proclaiming, “I love you bunches Daddy. I love you because you are funny. Because you build the best hot wheel tracks. You’re fast and wow. No matter what, you’re my favorite driver. I hope you win the championship race. I love you very much. I’m so proud of you,“ urging him to win.
Aside from the usual childhood illnesses, Beau has no known health issues. In fact, Tyler even joked that the only time he felt ill from a stomach bug he caught from his young son, Beau, was during a Darlington race weekend. For Reddick, moments with Beau are priceless, as he later admitted, the little arms of Beau hugging him after a hard race are what truly make everything feel better.
As Beau settled into his role as chief little fan, the Reddicks expanded their family in 2025 with another baby boy.

Tyler and Alexa announced their second child, nicknamed Rookie George, on May 25, 2025. The unique name immediately drew attention online. Tyler explained “Rookie” is a nod to NASCAR’s first-year drivers and the racing spirit he loves, and “George” is actually his own middle name. In his social media announcement, he wrote, “We welcomed the newest addition to the Reddick family… The household has now become a family of four, and we are so blessed.”
Remarkably, Tyler even raced in the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte just hours after Rookie’s birth, finishing 26th that day. As a newborn, Rookie is not yet in school and naturally has no endorsements, but he is already part of the team’s story. To date, Rookie George has no health issues reported; his biggest races right now are naptime and snuggling with his mom and dad in victory lane.
