The entire Phillies circle is convinced they’ve found the Queen of Karens. During the fourth inning of Friday’s Marlins-Phillies game at LoanDepot Park, slugger Harrison Bader hit a solo home run that landed in the stands. Out of several fans, including a woman now dubbed as “Karen,” scrambled to pick up the ball. However, a man dressed in a Phillies jersey quickly came by and grabbed it for his son, Lincoln—the birthday boy. The unidentified woman confronted the pair. In full view of the live broadcast, and made the father give up the ball from the young kid. The clip spread across social media, and now the internet has completely united behind the young fan.
In the viral video, the woman, wearing Phillies apparel, was visibly yelling at the father-son duo. Lincoln looked nervous. Joining those who tried to make it up to the kid after Karen’s behavior, Marcus Lemonis—$900 million CEO of Camping World, Good Sam Enterprises, and Beyond, Inc., stepped in. “I’ll send this young man and his family to the MLB World Series on me. Oh and you just won an RV as well. #DadofYearWinsThatone @barstoolsports,” he noted.

His gesture exploded online, drawing more than a million impressions. Extending the series of heartwarming gestures for the birthday boy, a member of the Marlins’ staff came to the young kid with baseball goodies during the game.
It featured some baseballs and some gear. Moreover, Harrison Bader also greeted the young fan personally after the Phillies’ 9-3 win and gifted him a signed bat. Meanwhile, in the same week, another incident has been gaining traction. Piotr Szczerek, the CEO of the Polish company Drogbruk, appeared to slyly snatch a signed cap given to a child by tennis player Kamil Majchrzak in a recent US Open game.
On the other hand, with the win, the Phillies have solidified their lead within the National League with an 82-59 record. And with their gesture, they’ve also solidified themselves in the hearts of Lincoln and the fanbase.

Phillies go deep multiple times in 9-3 win over Marlins
On Friday night, the Philadelphia Phillies basically represented why they sit atop the NL East with a tough 9-3 win over the Miami Marlins.
Bryson Stott provided the biggest swing, slamming a three-run homer in the seventh inning that increased the Phillies’ winning odds. His shot into the Phillies’ bullpen extended the lead to 9-1, helping the club to emerge victorious. Before Stott, Max Kepler, Brandon Marsh, and Harrison Bader also went deep, providing the Phillies four home runs on the night.

Bader’s solo hit swiftly followed Marsh’s 420-foot two-run blast in the fourth inning. Meanwhile, Kepler had already put the Phillies ahead in the second with a solo drive into the second deck. Staying red hot at the plate, Trea Turner finished 4-for-5, and it marked the second time this season when he recorded four hits against the Miami Marlins.

Each of the Phillies’ starters contributed with at least one hit. By the end, the Phillies had piled up 16 altogether. Kyle Schwarber, leading the NL with home runs, added two singles. However, he’s still chasing his next big swing after his four-home run explosion against the Atlanta Braves on August 28.
