Few athletes understand mental pressure quite like Annika Sörenstam. With 72 LPGA Tour wins and 10 majors to her name, she stands among the greatest golfers in history. When someone with that resume offers life advice, it’s worth paying attention. Yet even so, her latest tweet left fans puzzled.

The golf legend wrote, “Mental strength advice… “don’t dwell on the past. Move on” #mind #pointer #guide.” With a career full of remarkable achievements, it’s surprising to see her post such a stark reminder. What might have prompted her to share this message with the world? One likely reason is that she will be returning to competitive golf in the coming weeks..

No, Sorenstam is not going to play in a pro event. Rather, she will be a part of the field in the Pro-Am tournament preceding the event named after her, The ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge at Pelican. Just like 2024, the LPGA Tour legend will join Nelly Korda, Caitlin Clark, and Co. on Wednesday of the penultimate tournament of the season. However, it still remains a mystery why that would bother Annika to share such a tweet.

It’s unclear what prompted the tweet, and it doesn’t appear to indicate any major concerns. This seems somewhat uncharacteristic of her, but to better understand, let’s review what she has been doing recently.

What’s been going on with Annika Sorenstam?

To say that Annika Sorenstam has been busy since the last few days would be an understatement. She has been training with the youth, practicing herself, and keeping fit ever since the month began. Moreover, she also presented the inaugural Annika Inspiration Award to rising star Rachel Heck about 10 days ago.

The Swedish legend celebrated her birthday on October 9, 2025. Then, she went on to participate in the 6th Annual Celebrity Chefs and Friends Golf and Tennis Tournament just a week ago.

More recently, Sorenstam presented a book about her titled ‘A New Sport: Annie’s Golf Story’ written by Rachel Mullooly. Since then, she has been sharing pictures of Caitlin Clark and promoting her appearance in the ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge at the Pelican.

Overall, there’s no indication that anything negative is happening in Annika Sörenstam’s life at the moment. Though it’s possible she simply hasn’t shared it. Either way, her cryptic tweet remains a mystery for now.
