At the peak of his career, Adrien Broner was hailed as boxing’s next Floyd Mayweather, a superstar in the making. But over the years, his dramatic fall from grace has left fans stunned, as the now 36-year-old seems trapped in an endless cycle of controversies. His career, once filled with promise, has instead become a turbulent mix of legal troubles and public scandals—and recent events suggest things have only gotten worse.

Adrien Broner was recently kicked off the It Is What It Is podcast thanks to his polarizing behavior, but now, he has landed himself in an even deeper hole. According to a viral clip that has surfaced online just hours ago, the former lightweight champion was in a drunken confrontation with restaurant staff and police over an alleged $2,200 unpaid bill in a restaurant.

What happened with Adrien Broner?

The video showed an intoxicated Broner, surrounded by restaurant staff, growing increasingly agitated as he was confronted about the unpaid bill. Police officers were also present, with Broner launching into a rambling exchange with the restaurant manager. At one point, he asked, “Y’all can get a party from me, koo? Why am I bleeding? Y’all taking me or what? I ain’t did nothing. You’ll get your money tomorrow.”

Interestingly, it wasn’t as though Broner was lacking the money. He pulled a wad of cash from his pocket and handed it over to pay the due bill, insisting, “Alright, here y’all go. This is all I can give. If y’all don’t want it, take it back, what that is? Give it to them. That’s all I can.” But the chaos didn’t stop there. In another moment caught on video, ‘The Problem’ Broner made a startling confession that reflected his situation.

“I ain’t f—ed up, my life f—ed up. That’s what I’m saying, I don’t do this, bruh… Alright, just take me to jail. He really called the Narcs, bruh.” As dramatic as the footage appears, the true context of the incident remains unclear—whether it was simply a misunderstanding between Broner and the restaurant or evidence of Broner crossing yet another line.

Now, this is the second time Adrien Broner has made headlines for the wrong reasons this month.

Cam’ron removes Broner mid-show for disrespecting co-host

Earlier this month, Adrien Broner was abruptly shown the door during an episode of the ‘It Is What It Is’ podcast after he crossed the line with co-host of the show, Treasure ‘Stat Baby’ Wilson. Broner was invited to the podcast to recap the Canelo Alvarez vs. Terence Crawford fight, but things took a turn when the subject turned to the NFL.

Broner joked with the analyst, a woman named Saudi—“If that’s Arabia, I, Saudi”—before turning his attention to Stat Baby, asking about her weight and commenting on her looks. “What you weigh, Stat?” he said. “I love you, I swear to God. Ay Stat, could you stop smiling? … I’m mesmerized by Stat.”

Even though Cam’ron warned Broner, reminding him that Stat’s boyfriend was on set, ‘The Problem’ Broner didn’t stop. Cam’ron finally intervened, stating, “We gon’ have to ask you to go, my n—. I’ma pay you for your time … but you can’t violate.”
